Knut Fredrik Ramstad is the CEO of MIXMOVE, a start-up company which provides software solutions for logistics operations. MIXMOVE’s solutions uses data to consolidate shipments to ensure that each vehicle has optimized fill rates, to reduce the number of vehicles needed, in addition to increasing the overall efficiency of logistics operations. As a direct result, this will reduce greenhouse gas emissions within logistics due to a more efficient use of vehicles.

Ramstad has over 20 years of experience with the development, implementation and commercialization of disruptive technologies. Before entering the logistics software space, he worked in the Media industry and was one of the creators of the Norwegian marketplace Finn.no. He sees several similarities between the digital transformation the media industry went through in the early 2000s, and the digital transformation the logistics industry is currently facing. Higher customer expectations and new emerging technology is forcing the industry to start thinking differently. Ramstad is passionate about being a part of this change.
